We’re looking for an enthusiastic Legal Intern to join our Legal team at our Antwerp headquarters. Are you a law student eager to gain hands-on experience in an international fashion company? During this voluntary internship, you will be part of our Legal Department and support the team in a wide range of legal and compliance-related topics.
Your mission
As a Legal Intern, you will support the legal team on ongoing projects, assist different teams across the company, and gain exposure to the day-to-day legal challenges of a dynamic fashion business.
Task description
Support with compliance projects (e.g. ESG/sustainability, privacy regulation, product compliance, supply chain due diligence).
Conducting ad hoc legal research on ranging topics such as consumer law, e-commerce, commercial law, marketing topics, sustainability.
Supporting the development of internal policies and procedures.
Assisting in the drafting and review of legal documents such as Terms & Conditions and NDA’s.
Analyzing legislation and translating it into practical business applications.
Drafting and updating contract templates.
Assisting with contract management and administrative follow-up.
Skills & experience
You are in your 3rd Bachelor or Master in Law, and have a strong interest in commercial law, contract law, consumer law, European law, and compliance-related matters (e.g. ESG, data protection).
You are available for a minimum of 3 days per week for at least 3 months, or for a longer period on a part-time basis, and can start as soon as possible.
You have good communication skills and are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
You are detail-oriented, hands-on and eager to learn.
You are hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
