To strengthen our team at our headquarters in Antwerp, we're looking for an enthusiastic and well-connected PR & Communications Coordinator who knows how to turn creative ideas into meaningful brand visibility.

Your mission

As our PR & Communications Coordinator, you'll play a key role in bringing the Essentiel Antwerp story to life, both in Belgium and internationally.

Reporting directly to our Brand Manager, you'll take ownership of our daily PR and communications activities, build meaningful relationships within the fashion and media landscape, and coordinate exciting initiatives that strengthen our brand presence.

You'll combine creativity with a hands-on mindset, confidently managing your projects while continuously spotting new opportunities to make Essentiel Antwerp shine.

Task description

• Build and nurture strong relationships with journalists, editors, stylists, influencers and key players in the Belgian fashion and creative scene.

• Act as the main contact for our international PR agencies, coordinating campaigns, press opportunities and brand initiatives across markets.

• Identify and develop influencer relationships, gifting initiatives and collaborations that naturally reflect the Essentiel Antwerp universe.

• Coordinate and execute press events, collection presentations, store openings and creative brand activations from concept to execution.

• Write engaging press releases, editorial pitches and communications that capture our unique brand identity and tone of voice.

• Oversee daily PR operations, including showroom activities, press samples, gifting logistics, media monitoring and reporting.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners and our PR & Communications Intern, whose daily activities you'll coordinate and support.

Skills & experience

• You bring 3–5 years of relevant experience in PR and communications, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, luxury or a PR agency.

• You know the Belgian fashion, media and influencer landscape and ideally already have a strong professional network.

• You're a natural connector: outgoing, approachable and genuinely passionate about building relationships and expanding your network.

• You're proactive, independent and solution-oriented. You don't just spot opportunities; you take initiative to make them happen.

• You combine a creative mindset with excellent organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail.

• You're a confident communicator and storyteller.

• You're comfortable juggling multiple projects, coordinating different stakeholders and keeping everything on track.

• Experience with international PR agencies, influencer collaborations or event coordination is a strong plus.

• You have excellent written and spoken Dutch and English, combined with at least a basic knowledge of French.

• Most importantly, you have a genuine passion for fashion, creativity and interest in Essentiel Antwerp!
